  • Oct 2005-Sept 2010: Ph.D. student at Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium. Title of thesis: "Toxicity and mode of action of plant lectins with a ricin-B domain against pest insects", Promoters: Prof. Dr. ir. Guy Smagghe and Prof. Dr. Els J.M. Van Damme. Obtained with great distinction.
